Last Wednesday we celebrated Julian's career with a luncheon at the Hilton. He is retiring from the Public Service to retreat into an amazing home somewhere in the middle of the woods. I was asked to photograph this event and since I've always gotten along with Julian, I agreed. Here are some of my favourites below. To see all the photos click here.
Last weekend I had a chance to revisit Ottawa's far east end, Rockland. Lots have changed there since I use to deliver chinese food for my parents. Anyhow, I met Nat's family and spent a nice afternoon with them. Here are some of my favourites :
This is Heidi's little cousin Jordan. He is fifteen and spent last weekend at our place hanging out and doing whatever. By whatever, I mean mostly playing every version of the game "Call of Duty" I had on XBOX. I have 3 versions, which are the same game really. We also saw Harry Potter in the theatres, and Heidi cried once again. Even, though she has read that book at least twice, and she had just seen the movie a week prior. Anyways, before sending him home to Shannonville, we got him a haircut and took a few photos of him. A photograph of Jordan the boy we know, and Jordan the man he is becoming!
This is my sister's little precious dog Calvin. Loved by Irene and Brandon. and also incredibly loved by my parents even though they hated dogs before hand. I must say Calvin is pretty hilarious, and I am impressed by the number of tricks he can perform. He can sit, roll-over, play dead, play dead when you shoot him with your finger gun and making a "bang bang" sound. Anyhow my pet photo session became a bit of a family portrait session as well. Heidi and I love this dog too, despite he sometimes pisses on me.
November 6, 2010 - Got a chance to take some photographs of Mikey and Nat. Just in time because they just had their first baby girl over the weekend. Congrats Mikey and Nat on your baby, Maya.
October 31, 2010 - I am pretty sure Calina is the cutest baby I've ever seen. Plus she really likes to look at the camera. I am very glad I got a chance to be there and record an important day in her life. Thanks Crystal and CJ for giving me this opportunity.
October 30, 2010 - Had my first trash the dress photoshoot today with Justin and Lauren. Unfortunately it was raining pretty hard at parts. However, we managed to find a really awesome barn and it saved the day. Thanks Justin and Lauren.
October, 2010 - A beautiful autumn day in Gatineau park was the setting for these photos with Alex and Amy. They will be getting married next fall out east. Congratulations to them.
